Las Marías-Pico Dama

From the indigenous community of Las Marias in the cultural zone of the Rio Platano Biosphere Reserve, you will hike for about 6 hours to the magnificent and mystical Pico Dama, a beautiful peak located at a medium altitude; approximately 1,200 meters above sea level. The trail on this route has a medium difficulty and the reward is unique, a rustic cabin in the middle of the forest awaits you, from where you will be able to observe incredible birds, plants, mammals, butterflies, you will also enjoy quiet and beautiful nights with the sounds of the forest.
